2010 Sting in the Tale ` a festival of stories`

20th August - 30th August 2010

STING IN THE TALE ` a festival of stories` Welcome…..

to our 7th festival feast of tall tales, sizzling stories, audience participation, mystery, fun, suspense with the occasional sting in the tale…

We offer stories in some of East Dorset and Christchurch’s most resplendent and atmospheric settings from an Iron age earthouse, spectacular Victorian gardens and physik garden, an 18th century Tithe barn, an 8th Century crypt, Neolithic rings and a ruined medieval church, a Castle, a 1950’s Model Town, a Victorian Pump House, a former Priest’s House, and a former Edwardian work house are all some of the fascinating buildings featured. So we invite you to visit and enjoy a special storytelling experience in a unique space.

We have stories for adults as well as family storytelling and theatre for children and toddlers. Learn the art of storytelling, create your own tale to tell your own children and learn this ancient skill of passing on stories.
